Where are we going to go?

I can predict some serious issues in the future. You don't have to be Nostredamus to realise that our run sites are getting fewer and fewer. This is because of the ever increasing population and a total lack of planning from the Colombo municipality (and certainly the Sri Lankan government in general).

Of course we could increase the number of city runs, but the chances are that we won't survive too long, adding all the smog and shit to our already dodgy lifestyles. Unlike Western countries, the option of doing a run in the suburbs is also out of the question. It is almost impossible to find a run-able trail without pissing some dude off for invading his personal territory. We've had some incidents like that.

The other problem we face is the time we're trying to do it. For a lot of folk it's tough to make the start of the run because traffic makes it difficult in deed to out of the city. Most of us have to break away from the office early - which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it is sometimes impossible.

Having the run start later is also not an option, because of darkness catching up on us halfway through the run.

Only solution I can think of is. getting the government to change the time zone. Who's with me on this quest to change the world?
