*  Panama Wins InterAmericas Hash for 2013 - In a close vote, Panama beat
out Oregon, USA, for the bid for 2013 for the premiere hash event for the
Americas.  This is the second time it has come close to South America, the
last being off the coast in Trinidad.  Buenos Aires, Rio, where are you?  I
personally ran in Panama, for three years up to marathon distance and can
tell you, it will be a challenging place to hash.  More details in a later
Global Trash magazine.  Get ready for serious barrio/jungle shiggy hashing.

*  In a little over a couple more months, the 2012 Hash Roster World
Directory will be published.   Do you really want to take a chance that the
quarter million readers a month who access the worldhhh.com cannot find
correct details in the world directory, so they don't visit or join your
hash.  I'll give you a horror story.  At least one newly arrived hasher
tried to contact a hash in a city only to fail, then assume the hash was
dead.  As a result, they started another hash.  Now the old hash has
competition, when it was their own bloody fault!  Don't do that to yourself,
update the directory most of the hash world uses today.

*  DEADLINE for the bottom pricing of World Interhash in Orlando 2012,
Heidelberg 2013, and Okinawa 2014 is fast approaching.  You can be a
founding member of the NEW, HONEST, MORE GEOGRAPHICALLY RESPONSIVE World
Interhash now get either for US$69.95 (less than half most large interhash
events starting prices) and all three for a bargain.  In about two weeks,
the price hits One Hundred Bucks!  Go to http://www.worldinterhash.com for
details or worldhhh.com Marketplace to register and pay on-line.

*  Pass this to your haberdasher.  Global Trash now has found new vendors in
China for decals and embroidered patches who do a better job for less money.
We can make embroidered patches or decals with your hash's logo for a very
low price and small minimum quantity, as well as T-shirts.  Check out the
Stuff with Your Logo section of the Marketplace at worldhhh.com.  We also
have the ON-ON foot iron on embroidered patches in five (5) colors and the
quality six-inch decals in four (4) colors, as well as the decals and
patches for the multi-colored World Hash House Harriers Membership logo.

*  Update your account.  Log into worldhhh.com and click on the account
manager.  If you have not been there recently, you will find that is has
significantly changed, made easier and will actually pay you to keep it
filled out - we are holding a drawing at the 1st of November for prizes for
those with complete entries.  If your address is incorrect, then you cannot
get your prize!

*  FREE IHN - Hash Boy saw its last issue in InterHashional News in July and
can still be found on-line, but we moved on to our very own Illustrated Hash
Hymnal.  This is an R-Rated version with graphical illustrated versions of
your favorite hash songs done by Britarse out of Hong Kong.  I hope you find
them as funny as I do.  His first effort went out with the October edition.
If you want to see it, subscribe today to Global Trash magazine and
InterHASHional News before the end of October 2011 and I will send the first
issue to you free.

*  MAKE SURE YOUR EVENT WEEKEND IS PROPERLY LISTED in the world calendar at
worldhhh.com.   I am already working on improving the Future Tortures
Interhash Calendar and will be publishing our desk calendar for subscribers
to Global Trash/InterHASHional News again for January.   The on-line
calendar is now like a complete website for your event.  You have full pages
for displaying information about your event, so check out the calendar and
see if you want to add more.  Within 2 - 4 weeks, I should be done with the
REGISTRATION MANAGER.  It allows you to accept registrations right on your
event's calendar website, including accepting Pay Pal payments, tracking
everything on the world database.  You can set up your own registration form
using the Registration Setup, including or leaving out features as needed.
Everything you need to manage the event, including rosters of participants
and tracking numbers of T-shirt sizes, trail preferences, as well as
refreshment, snack and meal preferences as you choose to be included in the
registration form.

*  There has been a wide response to supporting the Africa Hash MigratiOnOn
and making a statement to future Interhash hosts that elections will be on
the up and up or we don't go to the next one. I will be there.   Java is
paying attention and promise better elections for Interhash 2012.  Brussels
is also taking a close interest in making Interhash a better, more honest
event, should they get the bid.  However, none of them will give up their
high registration fees nor do anything to enforce geographical equality in
holding the event worldwide, so World Interhash is here to stay.  We hope
that World Interhash competition will improve Interhash, while at the same
time offering an event for the rest of the hash world who does not want to
pay US$250 - $300 registration fees, when half that can put on the same
quality event with proper event management.

*  The long put-off project of putting Global Trash and InterHASHional News
issues on-line has been restarted.  There are already a few issues up and
running.  If you are a premium member of the site (only costs $5 a year for
premium World HHH Membership in the marketplace with patch and certificate)
or a GT/IHN subscriber, you can view some old issues.  Magazine subscribers
will see issues one month before premium members.

*  My little novel, written of the life of a hasher in humor, adventure,
with ludicrous events, is available still in the Marketplace, called Alabama
Slim.  Some hashers seemed to be excited about it once they read it, and I
hope you are as well.  It is also being serialized in Global Trash magazine,
but don't wait for that, get a copy today.  Your honest feedback after
reading appreciated, so I don't keep getting a big head.

Well, hope that helps for now.  Of course, you can always see the latest at
worldhhh.com and by subscribing to Global Trash magazine/InterHASHional
News.

Cheers and On On
